About Me
I achieved a Diploma in Nursing (Children) in 2000 and then started my role as a paediatric nurse at a local hospital, where I worked for 18 years.
In 2006, I was awarded a BSc(Hons) in Professional Nursing Practice and I have since continued my work as a children’s nurse while also lecturing at the University of Manchester.
In 2012, I achieved my Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification, and then went on to complete my first aesthetic training course on Harley Street, London. I have continued to attend various aesthetic and skincare training courses to further my skills and knowledge.
I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and adhere to the strict guidelines and standards set out in this code. I am a member of CMAC (Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative), BAMAN (British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses, and I hold full aesthetics insurance.
So why did I choose a career in aesthetics?
My first non-surgical cosmetic experience was in 2010. I remember it so well! I had decided to have anti-wrinkle injections and attended a salon to see an aesthetic nurse. I was SO nervous as I did not know what to expect and had niggling worries about the outcome. Each day following my treatment, I would get up and head straight to the mirror....smiling, frowning and raising my eyebrows! Within a few days, I noticed the effects of my treatment and I LOVED it!
I started to feel happier with my appearance and in turn, my confidence was given a boost.
I had always been interested in aesthetics but had never given thought to training in this area.
During my next couple of visits, I started asking my aesthetic nurse numerous questions regarding aesthetic training. The rest is history!
Running my own business means that I can work around my family life...my husband and 2 daughters.
I absolutely love meeting new patients and keeping in touch with current patients.
I feel passionate about helping men and women feel happy and confident in the way they look. There is no better feeling than seeing or hearing how pleased my patients are with their treatments, while helping to rebuild their confidence. I believe in providing treatments that provide a natural, fresh face appearance.
My growing interest in non-surgical treatments for hair loss and thinning has been driven by the increasingly positive results I have seen in practice. By using advanced evidence-based techniques, I have been able to help both men and women achieve noticeable improvements in hair density, strength, and overall scalp health.
